The 300-MW coal-fired power plant of TVI, located in Toledo City, aims to address the increasing demand for baseload power in the Visayas grid. The plant serves the franchise area of the Visayan Electric Company (VECO) and other electric cooperatives in Cebu. The TVI plant, in which Vivant owns a 20-percent equity, commenced operations in 2019.
