The 47-MW bunker-fired DPI is the largest power generator in mainland Palawan with 2 power stations under separate power supply agreements with Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO). The power plant also provides ancillary services.
DPI operates in a SPUG (Small Power Utilities Group) area.
DPI is an active member of the community having many projects in health, education, enterprise development and environmental protection. DPI’s corporate social responsibility program has received various awards from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the local government of Palawan.
Vivant owns 50% of DPI, which is located in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
