Vivant earns 3-Golden Arrow Award for second consecutive year

Vivant Corporation has received the Three-Golden Arrow recognition for the second consecutive year at the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Awards 2026, conferred by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD). The honor places Vivant among the top publicly listed companies in the Philippines for corporate governance.

The ICD presents the award each year to publicly listed companies that set the highest standards in key governance areas. These include equitable treatment of shareholders, stakeholder relations, transparency, accountability through disclosure of material information, and ethical business practices.

“Earning three Golden Arrows a second time tells us that good governance at Vivant is a discipline we keep, not a target we reach once,” said Atty. Maila G. de Castro, Vivant Corporation Corporate Secretary. “We credit this to our Board, our leadership, and every Vivant employee. The trust our shareholders and partners place in us is something we are committed to protecting and  earning every year. As we grow, we aim  to continually raise our standards.”

The 2026 recognition marks Vivant’s fifth consecutive year of Golden Arrow distinction:

  • 2022: One-Golden Arrow
  • 2023 and 2024: Two-Golden Arrow
  • 2025 and 2026: Three-Golden Arrow

“In energy and water, we build assets meant to serve communities for decades, so every decision we make today has to hold up over the long term,” said Arlo G. Sarmiento, Vivant Corporation CEO. ”

The ICD confers a Golden Arrow on companies that score at least 75 points in the ACGS assessment. The recognition means a company shows observable conformance with the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance and with internationally recommended corporate governance practices.

Vivant’s recognition extends beyond governance. In 2026, Forbes Asia named the company to its Best Under A Billion list for the second time, after first making the list in 2020. The list features 200 of the Asia-Pacific region’s top-performing small and midsized listed companies. Vivant is also Great Place to Work-Certified for 2023–2024 and 2025–2026. In 2025, it received the HR Asia Award for Best Employer Brand and the Asia CEO Award. Together, these honors show that Vivant’s discipline in the boardroom carries through to its business performance and to a workplace culture that brings out the best in its people.
